LAST Saturday's fixture had a lot to live up to after a spectacular game the previous time these teams met, which ended in a win for Ledbury, a hat-trick for Chris Grubb and six men sent off!

LEDBURY TOWN RES 3, TUPSLEY 0

Both teams started brightly with attacking flowing football. With either team likely to score, it was the home side who managed to take the lead midway through the first half when a nice passing move and superb cross was headed home by the lively Chris Grubb. With both teams attacking so openly, it was only a matter of time before another goal came and come it did through Grubb.

Time was running out and Tupsley pushed desperately for a goal and possible lifeline, but got caught by a breakaway as Ledbury earned a penalty against an ever tiring Tupsley defence. On a hat-trick for two seasons running Grubb made no mistake.

Man of the Match - Chris Grubb.

Both Ledbury teams are playing from the New Street ground tomorrow (Saturday) for the first time ever with the Reserves entertaining Holme Lacy (2.30pm) and the 1st XI play Malvern Town Reserves (3pm).
