OPENING shortly, from September 25-30, is a new exhibition by Sue Locke at the Mayor's Parlour Gallery, Church Street, Hereford. All the paintings are for sale and the exhibition will be open daily from 10am-4pm.

This is her first one-man show in Hereford. Previous exhibitions have been with other craftsmen such as John Leech, David Woodford and Mary Kenny at the Kemble Gallery.

Sue move to Herefordshire from London four years ago where she has exhibited regularly and worked as an Art Therapist. She now works in Hereford at the Martha Trust House with disabled children and with the elderly at the Weir Nursing Home. She also has sessions at the Hereford Natural Therapy Centre in King Street. There are regular 'Painting as Therapy Workshops' in her studio at King's Caple where she lives with her husband Oliver Sharp.

Before settling in Herefordshire she travelled extensively, living in Jamaica, Italy and the USA. Her travels around the world have always been a great inspiration for her colourful paintings, now she relishes the beautiful countryside in Herefordshire. The paintings in this exhibition were inspired by the amazing and diverse flowers in the garden and the countryside.
