BEEKEEPERS, rowers and closet Vikings are a few of the diverse Herefordshire groups to benefit from the latest round of National Lottery grants.

Twenty-eight groups from across the county will share more than £100,000 from the Millennium Festival Awards for All coffers.

Jumpstart (£3,300); Leominster Historical Society (£3,290); Ross Off Street Sports (ROSS) (£2,514); Ross Rowing Club (£3,675); SASH (Sexual Abuse Survivors Herefordshire) (£2,886); St John's Church Parish Room (£5,000); Satunton-on-Wye Village Hall Committee (£5,000).
