The Munsley businessman who brought the world "hop confetti" for weddings has received Royal encouragement from the Prince of Wales.
Mark Berry, of Munsley Court, wrote to Prince Charles recently, enclosing a packet of the environmentally friendly confetti, which is made of petals.
Now Mr Berry, who is also considering introducing four seasons "funeral confetti" to the market, has a letter from Buckingham Palace to treasure.
The letter, sent on behalf of Prince Charles by his assistant private secretary went through the Buckingham Palace franking machine and its written on St James's Palace notepaper.
It states: "His Royal Highness was very interested to learn of your idea of using hops in this way, and is delighted that you have found a way to help hop farmers.
"He hopes that your hop confetti will enjoy very great success in the future. This comes with the Prince of Wales's very best wishes."
Mr Berry said he was delighted by the response.
