Ledbury Swimming Club had a very tough third round in the Bluebell League with Worcester putting in a strong team.

They managed to get first place in Event 22 with Jason in the four lengths breaststroke and then going on to win the two lengths butterfly.

Harry Roberts won the breaststroke with a Personal Best and again Hywel Pothecary managed to win the two length freestyle with a PB.

Team captain Laura West swam an excellent 100m backstroke gaining a PB.

Hywel and Sarah Bethell have set new freestyle PB's each week as have Kim Robinson, Harry and Lucy Bennion in the breaststroke.

Well done to all the swimmers, many having to swim up an age group to cover for absent swimmers, and everyone showed true team spirit.

Other swimmers who gained PB's were Lucinda Houghton, butterfly and Richard Ing, 50m freestyle.

With Worcester winning by 60 points Ledbury just managed second place by one point more than Cwmbran. They now have a needed rest until the fourth round on March 10 at Monmouth.
