Eastnor'S in-form opening bowler Shahid rushed out five Romsley & Hunnington batsmen before heavy rain forced the Worcestershire County League Division 2 clash to be abandoned.

The talented all-rounder took 5-26 and reduced the high-flying visitors to 77-5 when the players were forced to head for the pavilion.

Eastnor, who have won three league matches this season, remain in sixth position.

Brockhampton reached 37-1 before their home clash with Feckenham was rained off after only nine overs.

The Herefordshire club remain in seventh position, just four points adrift of Eastnor.
