Bromyard woodturner James Edgar has welcomed the new Serica Art Gallery, in the High Street.
Since the specialist shop opened five weeks ago, owner and silk-painter Annette Jackman has made a point of attracting local exhibitors, including Mr Edgar, whose plates, bowls and goblets can be found in the gallery.
Mr Edgar said: "It's very important to me to have a local outlet for my work. I buy in materials locally and I sell locally." Other artists making using the gallery include the Upper Sapey ceramic specialist Michele Marwood, papier-mache artists Debbie Todd and Jane Tudge, woodturner and potter Jonathan Smith and painters Pat O'Donnell, Brigid Hughes, Anthony James and Penny Rees.
