MORE than 6,000 competitors have competed in a series of one-day tournaments, which will result in 36 overall winners spending a day at Wimbledon where they will be joined by LTA coaches and a national player for a day of tennis activities.
Harrison Probert and Siobhan Gordon from Hereford, members of Whitecross Tennis Club, have both been outright winners at the city and county tournaments and will now represent Hereford and Worcester in the regional finals, which will be held at Tipton Sports Academy on September 15.
Both players are coached by Andrew Griffiths, LTA coach and head coach at Whitecross Tennis Club.
