A CHOIR with a difference comes to New Radnor on Sunday, November 11 to give the second concert of the season.
The clarinet choir from the Welsh College of Music, Cardiff consisting of fifteen students and post graduate instrumentalists, will play clarinets ranging from the Contra Bass to the E Flat.
Their programme includes the 'Celebration Overture' (Eric Hughes), Mozart's 'Horn Concerto', (soloist Laura Tanner), 'Suite for Clarinet Choir' (Warren Hutchinson), Bach's 'Brandenburg Concerto No 3', 'Sinfonietta' (Paul Harvey) and 'The Force of Destiny' (Verdi) commemorating the centenary of Verdi's death.
Peter Fielding, principal bass clarinettist from the Welsh National Opera will direct and conduct the choir.
