Madam, Not one Liberal Democrat MP among the 53 that they have has stated publicly any concern whatsoever about losing the Pound Sterling nor have any of them ever debated against further European Union integration.
This can mean either one of two things: either Mr Charles Kennedy is Britain's most effective control freak outshining even Mr Blair in his manipulation of what elected members say or that the group of Liberal Democrat MPs are a collection of clones with no imagination, no individual spirit and no tendencies to involve various strands of opinion into their party. Unless this party can put up candidates for Westminster who have minds of their own and are prepared to debate and challenge the party line then nobody will ever take them seriously.
How can you have confidence in a party which is so universally controlled and blinkered.
