NEXT week, St Briavels Castle sees the arrival of 20 young professional classical musicians from all over the world to take part in the Lower Wye Valley Chamber Music Festival 2002.
For the third year running these young people are coming together for a week's holiday of music-making in the castle and will be
sharing their music with local music lovers in two concerts - one on Tuesday, January 15 at 7.30pm in St Mary's Church, Monmouth, and the second on Saturday January 20 at 7.30pm in St Briavels Church.
These young musicians, from the world's top conservatoires, play regularly at internationally acclaimed venues and the concerts will include a variety of duos, trios, and quartets by Mozart, Schubert, Brahms, Schumann, Grieg, Dvorak and Machonchy.
Tickets will be available both on the door on the night or in advance on 01594 530286.
