A STRONG second-half showing earned Leo-minster an impressive 5-2 friendly home win over county rivals Hereford who fielded a side of first and second team players.
Leominster took the lead on 25 minutes when Rob Goodman lost his marker and applied a cool finish. But Hereford deservedly drew level just before half-time with a goal from Colin Amos.
Leominster regained control in the second half and scored four goals through Dave Harvey, Jon Briggs, Steve Mumford and Goodman.
Leigham Hayde replied for Hereford.
Defender Jon Davies marked his first team debut with an outstanding performance for Leominster.
