Dunlop 15 pts
Ledbury 31
LEDBURY recorded a vital away win in their attempt to carry off the Midlands 4 West (South) crown.
The Herefordshire club defended well in the opening exchanges against a big Dunlop pack.
With the wind blowing strongly, it was not a day for long passing and Ledbury tried to keep moving the ball quickly out to the backs and away from the home side's tight eight.
The tactic proved fruitful because Dunlop's backs were poor which allowed Ledbury to cut through, with Dave Pickford scoring twice and Peter Butler also grabbing two tries for the visitors.
Each of the four touchdowns were engineered by Rob Collins and some superb running down the wing by Delamore.
Dunlop were still in contention until 10 minutes into the second half, having scored two tries of their own, but Ledbury eventually ran out worthy winners with late contributions from Dave Robinson and Mark Gould.
