Five Ways OE 17 pts Bromyard 17

A LATE try from Jason Evans earned Bromyard a share of the spoils in an exciting North Midlands 1 away clash.

Evans crashed over for an unconverted touchdown in the dying minutes to secure an unlikely point for the Herefordshire club.

Trailing 5-0 at the interval, Bromyard stepped up a gear at the start of the second half and were rewarded when captain Giles Rivers scored a try underneath the posts that Gareth Boxhall converted.

However, Bromyard's lead was short lived and Five Ways responded immediately with an unconverted try to move 10-7 in front.

To their credit, Bromyard continued to press and regained the lead when prop Nick Legge crashed over the visitors' line.

Again the home team responded immediately with a converted try to move 17-12 ahead and it looked like being the winning score until Evans popped up to salvage a draw for Bromyard.
