SHROPSHIRE based artist, Olga Knight spent many years teaching the 'cello before her ambition to paint finally took precedence and she left her teaching career behind in 1987.
Early successes included exhibiting
regularly at many of the top London shows, which culminated in her being asked this year to join The Society of Women Artists.
Six of her paintings are currently on show at the Society's annual exhibition in Westminster, which runs until March 19.
