A GROUP of Herefordshire students will be going 'into Africa' this Easter as part of a Bulmers development project funded by the company 'community chest'.

The six youngsters will be joined by five Bulmers employees who are taking part in the company's own sustainable development programme.

The major cultural exchange has been organised by Hereford based charity, Concern Universal, aiming to involve young people from Herefordshire, Northern Ireland, Columbia and children in Kenya.

The 'real life' training opportunity will increase leadership and cultural awareness for both the students and the Bulmers employees.

Organisers hope that on their return students will share their experiences with the wider community, as well as contributing to a developing education programme throughout Herefordshire's schools.

The group will be jetting off on Sunday, March 24.
