Bustleholme Reserves 2 Leominster Town 0
LEOMINSTER gave a lack lustre performance against bottom club Bustleholme and missed an opportunity to move up to a challenging third position in the West Midlands League Division 1 South.
The strong wind made it difficult for both teams to establish any rhythm but Leominster battled hard against the elements and went close to opening the scoring on several occasions. Phil Stokes saw his strike rebound off an upright, Chris Price shot straight at the goalkeeper and Terry Williams fired wide.
In the second half Leominster started to struggle and allowed Bustleholme to take control. After 15 minutes they broke through and although goalkeeper Scott Hodgetts blocked the first shot the ball fell to Neil Oakley who headed home.
Town went further behind when Dean Jones fired home from 18 yards.
