LINTON AND DISTRICT HISTORY SOCIETY -- The annual meeting will be held in the village hall at 7.30pm on Wednesday, March 20, and all members are urged to attend. It will be followed by a talk by Donald Pennington on the 'creation of the Oxford Colleges'. Peter Hill of the society is also asking if any local resident has any memorabilia connected to the Royal family for the years 1950/60. If so, please telephone him on 01989 720315.
WOMEN'S INSTITUTE -- This month's meeting will be an open meeting and visitors will be welcomed from 8pm onwards in the village hall, when Major Bob Moslem-Jones will be telling us about 'misadventures in the mountains of Snowdonia'. There will also be a bring and buy table. The usual business for members only will start at 7.30pm.
