Talented young singers Sian Jones, soprano and Polly May, mezzo soprano will perform accompanied by Lucy Walker, piano on Saturday, April 6 at the Tretire Study Centre.

Both graduates of Trinity College of Music, London the singers are at the outset of promising careers. Sian was the winner of the John Ireland prize for voice and piano in 2001 and has performed a wide range of repertoire in many venues, including St Martin-in-the-Fields, while Polly was recently described by BBC Music magazine as a "warm and musky mezzo" in a review of her latest CD.

Purcell and Monteverdi will open each half of the concert, followed by work from Faure, Poulenc, Debussy and Delibes. Further information and tickets on 01989 562060. The event will begin at 7.30pm.
