Solid defending from Debbie Bedford and Bev Hyde allowed Kington to push forward and newcomer Alex Watson, the player of the match, swept in the opening goal on 15 minutes.

Kington extended their lead five minutes later from an excellent finish by Karen Stephens, and Helen Yeomans completed the scoring with a blistering drive in the second half.
