Presteigne 2 Llanidloes 1
A LAST-GASP penalty from Graham Jones earned Presteigne an impressive home victory in the Spar Mid Wales League.
The prolific marksman converted the spot-kick in stoppage time after Johnny Williams had been fouled inside the area.
It was a just reward for Presteigne, who produced a hard-working second-half display but missed a couple of good scoring opportunities.
Presteigne swept into an early lead with a goal from debutant Robbie Gore, the former Kington Town player, who side-footed home a cross by Williams.
But Llandiloes fought back, drawing level before the interval, and the visitors were then thwarted on several occasions by Presteigne's confident goalkeeper Edwin Traylor.
