HEREFORDSHIRE football's showpiece final takes place at Edgar Street tomorrow with a clash between West Midlands League Premier Division rivals Kington Town and Westfields.

Kington will be defending the trophy in the final of the HFA County Challenge Cup which kicks off at 11 am.

Kington beat Ross Town in last season's final after their previous success had been back in 1971. However, they collected the trophy several times in the 1950's and 60's.

Westfields have lifted the trophy on four occasions, the last being in the 1995-96 season.

On their way to the final the Hereford club beat Ross Town, Ledbury Town and Wellington, while Kington accounted for Civil Service, Ross United Services and Bromyard Town.
