WOMEN'S INSTITUTE -- Held their meeting on March 14, featuring. A talk by Harry Conod on 'A Day in the Life of a Farmer. It was a very humorous talk, had us all in fits of laughter, they do say a good laugh does you good. Thank you Harry.
COFFEE MORNING -- The event held on Saturday, March 16, was very successful, raising £241. We gave £152 to the Meningitis Trust, and £89 to the Rumanian Orphanage. Our thanks to all the people that came and supported our fundraising efforts. There will be a coffee morning at the Crown Inn, Dilwyn on April 6 at 10.30 am to 12 noon in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
