MADAM, If the roof and foundations were structurally unsafe, why were a tv crew, councillor Mike Kimbery and council staff taken into the pool area to record an interview?
Why be so reckless as to put these people's lives at risk?
The council has carefully avoided releasing the documents to support their decision, so conspiracy theories are rampant, with the feeling that, as the youth centre has been demolished and now the pool, the next step will be houses on this gem of a leisure area.
With so many structural engineering companies surely the pool could have been preserved until the new one came on line. Why is so much kept behind closed doors, why aren't they open with us and consult us?
