MADAM, While this is a disaster for Leominster it has also been a personal tragedy for the pool staff.
For a long time they have struggled to provide swimming facilities to a large area of North Herefordshire under increasingly adverse conditions, and are now struggling themselves to find new jobs. They have always been most helpful and supportive of Kingfishers Swimming Club and deserve our sincere thanks and best wishes for the future. It is to be hoped that once a new pool is built, we may see them once again.
