A THIEF upset the festive season postal delivery service run by Leominster Scouts.
The troop this week apologised to supporters of its fundraising Christmas Post scheme after dozens of greetings cards went missing.
District Commissioner Lyn Pugh went to collect cardboard posting boxes from shops and other places on the Friday before Christmas.
She discovered a box at Leominster Library - a very popular posting point - had been taken. A few years ago a similar box stolen from the Priory Church was found dumped by the river.
Mrs Pugh said: " I don't want people to think we let them down. Our apologies to everyone who made use of the posting box at the library and to those whose cards did not arrive."
