TRACTORS fascinate many farmers and one book just published takes a journey through the life and times of the American tractor.
Peter Henshaw, author of The 500 Series Tractors, presents the key manufacturers' models in a sequence of 500 beautifully-presented close-up pictures. Profiles of all the landmark models are shown, beginning with such classics as the 1917 Fordson Model F, the first tractor affordable to the masses, and ending with the more contemporary tractors being manufactured by AGCO. Also featured is the history and development of the manufacturers.
The handy-size book is published by Salamander at £9.99 and is part of a new series. During his life-long interest in tractors, Peter Henshaw has written several books.
