THE MINSTRELS - more than 50 students from the Minster College - took their latest show 'on the road' to the delight of hundreds of children at primary schools in the town and villages.
The songsters, directed by teachers Alan Durman and Peter Lockerman, performed sequences from the musical 'Little Shop of Horrors' at 11 local schools in three days.
It was an exhausting schedule but the Minstrels' efforts were praised as 'fantastic' at Ivington and 'absolutely marvellous' at Kingsland. Bodenham school children were 'spellbound'.
Minster College deputy headteacher Richard Davies said the Minstrels did a great job in publicising the school play.
'Little Shop of Horrors' is being staged as a full dramatic and musical production at the college on three nights this week.
