Bromyard man Stewart Keenan's idea to set up his own recording and artist management business was a lifestyle thing.
Having gained a GNVQ in Advanced Business from Hereford Technical College, he spent four years DJ-ing, investing in his own decks and studio equipment in 1998.
As well as recording his own mixes, Stewart owns Navigation Records, which promotes new artists - mainly break and progressive house.
"It's definitely getting harder as more people are trying to get into the industry," says the ambitious 22-year-old.
A track on Nick Warren's Global Underground CD, to be released in March, is a real achievement for Stewart who admits he "wouldn't do anything else."
