CHURCHES TOGETHER -- The committee of churches together was held recently at the St Michael's Hall when the Rev. Lloyd Rickard took the chair and during the evening he mentioned how the new building at the Baptist Church was progressing. Clare Wichhold had distributed the minutes of the last meeting held on October 7, and many of the items listed had already been held, others to take place later, all of which will be announced at each of the churches and other places. Philip Broadbent, the treasurer, who is awaiting someone to take over that position, gave details of the financial position. There was balance in hand of £67.47 now reduced to £38.97. The agenda for the evening was presented by the secretary and many of the items due in the future will take place. The next committee will be held on March 31 at the Catholic Church, Ewyas Harold.
