VILLAGERS are being asked to consider starting up a youth club to help keep local youngsters occupied.
The feasibility of such a move will be discussed at a meeting in the village hall at Clehonger tonight.
It has been called following numerous complaints about anti-social behaviour and incidents of petty damage occurring in the village and surrounding area over recent months.
Representatives of the police will be there to advise on the situation as well as those from Herefordshire Council's youth services department.
Urged to attend
The meeting tonight starts at 7-30pm and local Councillor David Taylor urged as many people as possible to attend.
"We want your views on how we can all work together for both the benefit of youngsters and other residents in and round Clehonger,'' he said.
Youth leaders would be there to advise on whether it was feasible to start a youth club.
"We really should try and provide some facilities and for something for youngsters to do during the evenings, specially during the winter months,'' said Councillor Taylor.
