FROM the Lake District comes an appeal for the whereabouts of the family of a former resident of Cumbria.
Writer Jane Renouf has asked for help in tracing relatives of Mrs Elizabeth Constance Fisher who moved from Arnside in Cumbria, to Buckfield Rd, Leominster around 1980 after she was widowed.
"I understand Mrs Fisher had a married daughter who lived in the Hereford area, but I do not know her married name," writes Jane. "I would be extremely grateful to hear from her, or anyone who knows the family or who knew Mrs Fisher.
"Mrs Fisher's late husband, Gordon Noel Fisher was a painter and elected member of the Lake Artists' Society, which is the subject of a book I am writing and the reason why I would like to contact the family."
