ALLPAY suffered their first defeat in all cup competitions this season when they went out 2-0 at home to Marriotts in an HFL Frank Peterson Cup semi-final.
The league newcomers never recovered from a third-minute goal from their Hereford Times League Division 3 colleagues that was due to slack marking as Marr-iotts settled best in blustery conditions.
The second half was different as Allpay mounted several attacks and, from one, Ben Gay struck a post. Then, eight minutes from time, the home team were stunned by a Marriotts' breakaway goal.
