THE Ross Support Group for Macmillan Cancer Relief welcomed Janet Andrews as its new chairperson at its annual general meeting.
She took over from Maureen Clifforth, who had steered the group for the previous three years, and helped to raise the record breaking figure of £12,264 for cancer patients and their families last year.
Janet Andrews hopes residents will continue to support the charity and said they have the perfect chance to do so by attending a quiz night on February 19 at the Castle Lodge Hotel, which begins at 7.30pm
