MADAM, Having recently visited The Courtyard to see 'Everyone's a Winner', by Hereford Academy of Dance, I felt compelled to write to you to voice congratulations to all those who took part in and helped in whatever way to get the show successfully staged.
So often we hear of our younger generation lacking drive, ambition or commitment but these and more qualities were evident in the youngsters who took part in the show.
They have rehearsed regularly for months, giving their own free time when all often it would have been easier for them to stay at home relaxing or watching TV.
Parents too, have made the effort to ensure their children attended their dance classes and the performances at The Courtyard proved that dedication and hard work really do pay off.
Please, through the pages of your newspaper allow me to pass on my congratulations to all involved, they were thoroughly professional performances, outstanding choreography, wonderful costumes and the young people involved are a credit to both their parents and their ballet school.
