THE chairman of Ledbury Independent Traders Association has put the case for more police on the beat.
Len Huff raised the issue of vandalism and theft at a meeting with Inspector Sue Thomas.
A number of shops have suffered broken windows recently and Mr Huff said more police are needed on patrol.
"I told Insp Thomas of what I believe is everybody's desire to see more policemen patrolling our streets," he said.
Mr Huff, who reported to fellow traders at a LITA meeting last week, said he was impressed with the positive response from police
