DOGS could be banned from Bishop's Frome sports ground if owners do not clean up after their pets.
Parish council chairman John Pudge said the amount of dog mess left on the field was unacceptable.
Although a ban is being considered, he added that if the situation improved there will be no need for a ban.
The parish council's sports committee is meeting on Tuesday to debate the issue further.
