A NEW play about one of the Dymock Poets is to be staged in Ledbury in October following a sell-out run in Cheltenham this month.

Tickets for performances of Robert Frost in England, playing on February 21 and 22 at the Everyman Theatre, have all gone.

The play celebrates the friendship between Frost, an American, and Edward Thomas, who both became members of the circle of poets who lived in Dymock in the period before World War I. Thomas later died in the war.

The Friends of the Dymock Poets are now planning to stage a performance of the play at their 10th anniversary annual general meeting.

It will take place at the Market Theatre on Sunday, October 5. More information is available from Catharine Luck on 01531 634796.
