THREE games were postponed in the Soccer Site Malvern Football League Division One on Sunday and both games in the U18 Youth Division were also called off.

Dynamo Ledbury extended their winning league run to four games after an impressive victory over local rivals Bell Inn 98 of Bosbury.

Matt Gray opened the scoring for Dynamo after five minutes with a well struck shot from 20 yards after his first effort was blocked. Shortly afterwards striker Dan Lucas popped up to put away the home side's second from close range.

The Bosbury side were playing some good football in midfield and soon got themselves back into contention when Chris Grubb was put through on goal, and after winning the ball from a challenge on keeper Rich Griffiths, was left to run the ball into an empty net.

The Ledbury side didn't let this bother them as the lead was extended once again when Ian Yates made it 3-1 and shortly before half time he doubled his tally with another great strike.

The second half looked like it was going to be goalless as both defences stood their ground but with only a few minutes remaining Bosbury's Darren Cooke was gifted an easy goal after a mix up on the line to make the score 4-2 at the whistle.

Dynamo's man of the match was left back Alan Green.

Dynamo Ledbury travel to Upton this Sunday to face second-placed Talbot Head.

Worcester Juniors won for the second week running when they entertained Brewery at a windswept Sling Pool Lane.

The wind did its best to spoil a good game of football but with both sides trying hard to keep the ball down Brewery took the lead in the first half through Gavin Locke.

Juniors had the wind in their favour in the second half and Jamie Lawrence scored a quick equaliser in the opening minutes.

With the older legs of Brewery tiring and with a very skilfull, young side playing some good football it was only a matter of time before they scored again and Jamie Lawrence grabbed his second goal. Juniors then added two more with goals from Chris Rastall and Chris White to run out comfortable 4-1 winners.

Kempsey United Reserves drew 1-1 with visiting Fromes Hill with both goals being scored in the first half. Scott Bruton was on target for Fromes Hill and Luke Yeoman got the goal for Kempsey.

Green Dragon bowed out of the HFA Sunday Cup losing to Three Horseshoes 3-2. Craig Turnbill and Jason Westmacott were the Dragon goalscorers.
