PEOPLE who suffer from leg ulcers and are registered with a GP practice in Hereford are now able to attend a new clinic at the Gaol Street Health Centre.
There, district nurses will diagnose the cause of the ulceration, plan its management and provide health education information.
The new clinic starts on March 6 and will take place every Thursday afternoon. Patients can be referred to it by a health care professional or they can get in touch with the health centre direct by phoning 01432 378910 to arrange an appointment.
The clinic has been set up by a team of district nurses, led by Rose Davey and is funded by Herefordshire Primary Care Trust.
