WEDNESDAY, March 12 is national No Smoking Day.
Many hundreds of people will promise to give it up. But people have a much higher chance of succeeding if they know more about the implications.
Herefordshire's Stop Smoking Service has already held a stand in the foyer of the County Hospital to give help and advice to staff, patients and visitors on the best way to tackle it, and many took a free carbon monoxide test.
This year the theme of the campaign is 'Sick of Smoking' and the service is always at hand to assist people wanting to give up.
