Hereford Couriers registered a resounding win in the annual Hereford-shire Cross Country Relay Championships at a muddy Westhope.
Each athlete of the Couriers' four-man team ran incisively over the 5.8km course, which was shaped in a figure of eight.
Wye Valley Runners' Mike Fawcett won the opening lap in the fastest time of day, 18.27, but from then onwards Cou-riers dominated.
Sean Bennett (19.09), Max Suff (20.29), Tim Clarke (19.40) and Martin Slack (21.12) led the Couriers' men's team home in a winning combined time of 80.30.
The women's race did not take place due to a shortage of entries, but Croft Ambrey Running Club won the veterans' relay championship in 99.26.
Guy Whitmarsh (21.55), Bryan Markham (25.43), David Rouse (24.29) and Nigel Davidson (27.19) were the four successful Croft Ambrey members.
