Wellington 2 Cinderford 0
WELLINGTON scored twice in the second half to secure their place in the semi-finals of the HFA Giantkillers Under-18 Cup.
After an even first half, the quarter-final tie burst into life when Sam Lloyd gave Wellington the lead with a neat header shortly after the interval.
Danny Amies then missed a penalty after Mike Craig had been fouled inside the area but he made amends 10 minutes later by rounding off the scoring from another penalty.
Gloucester City 2 Wellington 2
Last season's runners-up Wellington consolidated second position in the Midland Floodlit Under-18 Youth League Southern Division with a hard-fought draw on Monday.
A late equaliser from Sam Lloyd, who pounced after Amies' free-kick had rebounded off a post, salvaged a point for Wellington after an Amies penalty had put the villagers into an early lead.
