MADAM, The Independent group on Herefordshire Council has never agreed to an alliance nor even discussed it.
Councillors Rule and Grover serve as cabinet members, that is their choice, they are independent. The rest of us have seats on committees allocated by strict proportional rules.
I could never as a member of the Countryside Alliances and a farmer, serve in a coalition with the Labour Party.
