PLANS for a housing development in Pencombe have been submitted to Herefordshire Council.
Applicant Peter Mercer-Wilson says he is looking for basic approval of proposals to build residential housing on a two-acre plot around the Old Rectory.
Mr Mercer-Wilson, whose parents used to live on the site, said: "Nothing detailed regarding the extent or the type of housing has been drawn up yet but I would have thought it would be residential homes that would be built.
"As for numbers, it could be two or three houses, I really don't know. The Old Rectory could be modernised or knocked down, it depends what the council says."
The plan, currently only at an outline stage, is expected to be considered in April.
