TOWN made three changes to last week's team that drew at home and brought in Steve Warren, Nick Welch and Adam Ling.

BRIERLEY HILL & HAGLEY 0, Ledbury TOWN 0

Although Ledbury failed to score, they could count themselves unlucky against the West Midlands Premier Division's in-form team and more than held their own with an excellent team performance.

Seventeen-year-old goalkeeper Adam Ling was again impressive with his handling and quick distribution of the ball.

Ledbury should have opened the scoring when a shot from Nick Welch rebounded from inside the net but the referee was convinced it had hit the woodwork and waved play on.

Then a flowing move from one end of the pitch to the other saw Robbie Colwell inches away from putting Ledbury in front before Stu Smith broke clear but the keeper produced a fine save from his attempted chip. Duncan Preedy was next to test the keeper with a powerful snap shot.

Town manager Paul Wilband said he was pleased by the performance against a good side adding it was the first no score draw he had been involved in since joining the club over two years ago.

Tomorrow (Saturday) Ledbury Town are at home to Shawbury United (2.45) and then on Wednesday evening are at home again in the quarter-final of the League Cup against Kington (7.45).
