Signed professional forms with United in 1998 after a successful YTS period and is tipped for a move to bigger things. He was also part of the Wales semi-pro side which lifted the inaugural Unibond Four Nations crown. Regarded as one of the best midfield players in the Nationwide Conference, Hereford-based Parry can play wide right, wide left or in attack. The 21-year-old first shot to national acclaim in 1999 when he streaked clear of the Leicester City defence in an FA Cup third-round tie at Edgar Street, and struck the woodwork with former England goalkeeper Tim Flowers beaten. Parry has been linked with a move to several higher-graded clubs, including Leicester.
