A 20-year-old left-back, Rose started his career as a trainee with Premiership giants Manchester United. He is a summer signing from Nationwide Conference rivals Chester City, with whom he made 34 league appearances last term, and is regarded as a free-kick specialist. A fierce striker of the ball, Rose opened his United account with a rasping 25-yard drive in the friendly against Swindon Town.
