HEREFORD United boss Graham Turner will be eager to field his preferred line-up for Saturday's visit to Dr Martens Western Division outfit Evesham United.

Turner is expected to include new signings Robbie Sawyers and Richard Teesdale in United's squad for the last pre-season trial match before the Nationwide Conference opener with Farnborough Town.

Defensive midfielder Sawyers, aged 23, has joined the Bulls on a two-year deal following his release from Conference rivals Barnet, for whom he made 101 appearances.

Teesdale, a central defender, has spent the pre-season with United and the former Walsall trainee has signed a one-year deal following his release by the First Division club.

Although United are travelling to Bromyard Town tonight and facing an HUISA XI at Edgar Street on Monday, the match at Evesham is very important, with the Conference season starting on August 17.

Meanwhile, striker Scott Voice has resumed training following his spell at Lilleshall, and the Bulls' fund-raising open day was a huge success, attracting about 600 people to Edgar Street on Sunday.
