FORMER Ipswich Town trainee Ashley Nicholls is one of the trialists taking part in pre-season training with Hereford United.
The 20-year-old forward did not feature in the Tractor Boys' first team, but he spent almost four months on loan last season with Ryman League Premier Division club Canvey Island.
Ex-Chesterfield midfielder Daniel Williams, 21, is another player training with the Bulls.
Turner is still seeking to strengthen his 11-man squad ahead of next Friday's first pre-season friendly with Tranmere Rovers at Edgar Street. An experienced midfield player has just rejected an offer because he thought that the switch would involve too much travelling.
Meanwhile, United's Nationwide Conference trip to newcomers Burton Albion has been brought forward a day to Friday, October 11 (7.45pm kick-off) because the original date clashed with an England Euro 2004 qualifier.
